Founded in 1974, the Midland Koi Association (MKA) provides information and advice for its Members, enabling them to fully enjoy all aspects of Koi keeping, breeding and showing. The association has a wealth of knowledge so if you need help with Koi health, pond maintenance, or building a new pond, there is no shortage of practical advice! 

Our member’s ponds range from small private garden ponds to some of the most interesting designs found anywhere in the country.

With a major increase in popularity in recent years, many people enjoy the tranquility found in keeping Koi which provides an instant getaway from the daily routine and an opportunity to relax and enjoy life.

Annual membership is just £30 per household.

MKA Meetings

The Association meets on the second Tuesday of each month from October through to May. Summer meetings are held at member’s gardens, visiting dealers and different Koi sections around the UK where we enjoy seeing fantastic Koi, serene ponds and beautiful gardens.

At most Spring, Autumn and Winter meetings we have guest speakers.
